DACHIGAM NATIONAL PARK sets in an scenic surrounds of Jammu and Kashmir at only 22 km from Srinagar. It is the most excited experience I have never lived in my life. The park is enclosed by two ridges with a huge variety of flora and fauna. Simultaneusly Dachigam National Park enables you to connect yourself with the Upper and Lower Dachigam' splendid forest.

Aarif Mountaneer, my travel partner, along with Junaid Baigh and Nawab Moazam Khaled gave me the great opportunity to spend a day at Dachigam National Park, the only remaining home of the endengered Kashmir Deer Stag or the Hangul.

Dachigam National Park is plenty of water resources and unique biodiversity. I was able to see the Himalayan Brown Bear and a Snow Leopard. Both of them are in danger of extinction.
